Aceites Padilla – Almazara de San Pablo S.L. It is located on the outskirts of
Bailén, a historic town located at the crossroads of the Andalusian highways
belonging to the Route of the Castles and Battles of Jaén. Next to the olive mill is the olive grove, a natural space formed by multiple varieties of olive trees. An ideal place to learn to differentiate the different types of olives accompanied by an expert.
Among its olive trees, the Taggiasca variety stands out, a species originating in Italy that offers a sweeter and fruitier oil. This variety has been bottled in their cellars for three years and at the moment, at national level, it is only worked here.
Aceites Padilla is one of the pioneers in the promotion of good oil through early harvesting and the production of green and fresh oils. Their sustainable methods and environmentally friendly production are endorsed by the organic certification visible in their products. A wide variety of oils of the highest quality can be enjoyed at the tasting; in addition, a visit to the pottery can be included in the experience. A complete experience capable of combining gastronomy and tradition.

- Introduction to the olive oil sector (lecture + videos).
- Guided tour of the olive groves surrounding the mill to learn about olive cultivation. (learning to differentiate the different types of olives).
- Guided tour of the olive mill to learn how the precious olive juice is made.
- Tasting of the most select EVOO’s.
- Guided tour of the HP Padilla Pottery where we will learn about the elaboration of clay and the manufacture of different ceramic products in a mechanized and artisanal way.
